Swirl & Sip: Tea Honey Spoons
With the coldest months of the year among us, adding these sweet honey spoons to swirl into your tea will upgrade the hygge vibes in your home to a whole new level. This is a super easy DIY; candy honey spoons makes a great gift for anyone you missed on the holiday list, for tea parties, or your own cozy comforts in the year to come. It takes about 15 minutes to make and these little treats and this recipe yields 15 – 30 spoons. Make them with kitchen spoons, disposable, or vintage silver for an antique touch.
1/2 cup of honey
2 cups of sugar (I used Belgian rock sugar, but you can use any kind)
1 tsp white vinegar
- Place all the ingredients into a pot
- Bring the mixture to boil on a medium, stirring constantly
- Keep stirring until the mixture comes to a gentle simmer and keep cooking until it reaches the hard crack stage
- Remove from heat
- Dip your spoons into the mixture and place each spoon on a plate or greased cookie tray to set
